Guimarães was recognized as a European City of Sport in 2013. In that year of celebration, a book was published with the entire history of sport in the municipality. Ten years later, in 2023, Tempo Livre updated the first edition with new images and information from the last decade.
Design by OOF developed a new editorial project inspired by the original 2013 publication. The contents have been edited to improve the reading experience, with new hierarchies and a simpler layout. New materials, yellow biding thread, and finishes such as UV varnish have made the object more contemporary.
The publication is light and flexible, with well-defined hierarchies, and dozens of relevant pieces of information complement the main text, such as image captions, complementary texts, and editorial highlights. This book won an Honorable Mention in the 2025 Graphis Awards.
