Vimágua is a public company with a mission of managing and exploring collection, treatment and distribution of public water systems in Guimarães and Vizela municipalities. Since 2015, OOF Design has participated in the reformulation of the company's communication strategy. Our focus was the redesign and stabilization of corporate identity, as well as the brand presence reinforcement in the communication channels.
Our strategy was to redesign the logo and the symbol, as well as introduce a coordinated communication plan. Regarding the symbol, all paths were redesigned in order to provide more robustness and uniformity in the prints. The typography was adjusted in the spacing between characters. As for communication, it was decided to develop a plan in order to enhance the visibility of the Vimágua logo, which appears on a large blue background, the new company color.
Since Vimágua seeks to assert itself through social and environmental responsibility projects, the definition of this coordinated identity plan allowed the gradual standardization of all communication channels, optimizing production and implementation costs and resources.
