Opium is the first Portuguese company to focus exclusively on the creative economy and territories’ cultural and tourist development. By designing territorial development strategies in partnership with local and international agents, Opium seeks to enhance regions’ cultural identity and potential.
In this project, Design by OOF worked closely with the Opium team to redesign the visual identity and create the new website. We created a striking and human approach using a single typeface and a combination of vibrant colors, applied across the website and stationery.
The use of textured paper reinforces the brand’s human character, adding a sensorial dimension to the communication. The website incorporates subtle animations showing the locations where Opium’s projects have been implemented, and the customized layout and back office ensure fast navigation that can be adapted to different screens.
