The Casa da Memória de Guimarães is a museum dedicated to the city’s territory and community, created after Guimarães 2012 European Capital of Culture. In cooperation with Ondamarela, we organized a game-visit that proposes a unique itinerary through seven points in the museum's collection.

The game-visit takes place around a selection of 34 objects and begins at point 18 – “The skein’s thread”. Along the way, each participant must make decisions about the way to go and can perform several activities proposed in the yellow cards, placed next to each object. During the visit, the player marks with a sticker, on the map, the points where he passed. At the end, he registers his path, in the brochure’s detachable, and offers it to someone. “(...) you carry in your lap, in your arms, not a child or an object, but the itinerary you have just taken” – in “The Skein’s Thread” by Gonçalo M. Tavares.

The Memory Help is an analog and interactive object that aims to streamline the visit to Casa da Memória, allowing a unique visiting experience. In addition, it intends to encourage the visitor's return to the museum, so he can take another route or just repeat the previous one with a guest, increasing the visibility of Casa da Memória.
