Every year, Design by OOF develops the editorial design for Veduta, a publication by Casa da Memória de Guimarães. In this 19th edition, dedicated to time and public art, we proposed a layout that changes throughout the day, inspired by a common object found in public squares: the clock. Through it, we metaphorically represent the unstoppable passage of time, as well as the human desire to explore the past and imagine the future. The background colour of the website changes according to the rhythm of the sun. In the index, the articles appear linked to the authors’ names, scattered across the screen as if they were in a square. We aimed for the website navigation to feel like a stroll, where time and people take centre stage.
